Weather
Menorca enjoys Mediterranean weather, with mild winters and hot summers offering to those of you who wish to visit the area the chance to do everything they can think of. During July and August, the weather is both hot and sunny and there are nearly 11 sunny hours each day securing the perfect tan for you and your companion!
Undoubtedly the sunny, hot summer months tend to attract the majority of visitors as they wish to enjoy the advantages of the beautiful sun. As a consequence the popularity of the island is not at such a high level during November, December and January.Menorca has a truly Mediterranean climate, and averages 315 days of sunshine a year picturing the ultimate holiday paradise. The average summer high temperature is around 30º, although this often rises in the middle of August. The winter is mild and often sunny, therefore the wettest months are from October to March.

The use of Euro (EUR) is widely spread at the island of Menorca.

Banks
Do not worry about the bank system of the island as you will find banks open in the mornings, as well as a variety of cash points (ATM's) spread everywhere. Visa and Mastercard are accepted throughout the island , therefore American Express and Diners Card are rarely useful.
